THERE are now around 70 groups in Multiply from around the world. This represents over 8000 people joined together in mutual encouragement and support to see their area impacted by a radical Christianity.
More and more churches worldwide are looking for the reality of brotherhood relationship rather than a handout from the resource rich Western church. They look for mature wisdom and direction while remaining autonomous and free to make their own decisions as they work out the vision God has given them.
As Multiply has grown we have found we share certain distinctives and an identity as a Charismatic Stream in the wider church.
The Gospel
We take the Gospel to the poor, the marginalised, the unchurched. We pursue social justice and responsibility with a strong vision for practical equality.
Open culture
We have a "Rainbow" culture. We are open to all races, cultures, types, breaking down barriers and creating a truly mixed 'Jesus' stream.
Worship
Our worship is contemporary in style with relevant and modern forms and approaches.
Character
We move with an upfront radical spirit, a "muscular" Christianity that is raw, honest and challenging, carrying real punch.
Community
We seek to create a community with simplicity, self-denial and sacrifice. They carry an alternative culture of shared lifestyle.
Discipleship for generations
We involve and give particular focus to young men and women.
Pioneering
We pursue breakthrough vision on the cutting edge of the Holy Spirit movement.
Honesty
We nurture relationships between partners of frankness, openness and honesty.
If you'd like to join Multiply then contact Huw Lewis or a Multiply church in your area. We can share together, seek the Lord and find His will. We can help one another to Multiply.
Multiply Christian Network has been initiated by the Jesus Army (Jesus Fellowship Church) and is a member of the Evangelical Alliance UK. Churches or groups would need to be generally sympathetic with a basic evangelical statement of faith, but no finanacial contribution would be necessary.
